Exothermic Core-Mantle Decoupling – Dzhanibekov Oscillation (ECDO) Theory

An ECDO planet such as Earth is unusual in that it oscillates between two distinct rotational states—one stabilized by its magnetic field, the other governed by gyroscopic momentum. In this sense, the planet behaves like a geophysical yin and yang. This natural rhythm follows the weakening and renewal cycles of Earth’s magnetic field. When that field wanes, the stabilizing grip of the core relaxes, and the planet’s outer mass becomes more prone to decouple and settle into a purely gyroscopic balance.
In geophysical terms, this may unfold as episodes of True Polar Wander—moments when Earth’s entire outer shell, both crust and mantle, abruptly pivots around the spin axis to recover gyroscopic equilibrium. Today’s weakening magnetic field and the rapid heating of the abyssal oceans and climate may therefore stand as cautionary signals, warning us to remain alert for precursors of such a reorientation—events memorialized in the flood traditions of Noah, Deucalion, and Utnapishtim.
This Was Never Intended for Mere Mortal Eyes to See
Exothermic Core-Mantle Decoupling – Dzhanibekov Oscillation theory (ECDO Theory) encompasses a series of hypotheses regarding climate change and its relationship to the dynamics of the Earth’s core, as well as geophysical, monument, artifact, and cultural oral history evidence surrounding global cataclysms. It is solely the work of its author, The Ethical Skeptic, who developed the theory from 2010 until its first hypothesis publication on February 16, 2020.
This is the greatest saga ever to unfold, and it was right there before our eyes the entire time. These three original hypotheses form the foundation of The Ethical Skeptic’s ECDO Earth Cataclysm Theory. Within this summary, we outline a novel theory, the result of 25 years of research on the part of its author, comprising three primary novel hypotheses that link recent climate changes to specific alterations in the Earth’s core and mantle. These changes are proposed to lead to a decoupling of Earth’s core and mantle (H-layer or D” Layer), which may result in a recurrence of the cataclysmic inundations mentioned in many cultural oral histories. The three hypotheses are summarized in the articles below.
Article I. The Climate Change Alternative We Ignore (to Our Peril) – See Article Here

We propose that recent climate change may stem from structural and exothermic phase changes in the Earth’s nickel-iron core, rather than solely from human carbon and methane generating activity. Lattice structure changes in shed core material release latent kinetic energy (heat), which subsequently flows to the asthenosphere and abyssal ocean depths. This process could be the primary driver of observed climate change, the rapid ocean heating of 2023, methane outpacing climate model projections, and a long-associated weakening of the Earth’s geomagnetic dipole. Despite boasts to the contrary, climate change does not monitor the dynamic of heat released from the Earth’s core to its surface—choosing instead to employ model assumptions developed and left unchallenged for over a century.
Article II. Hidden in Plain Sight – See Article Here
We propose that the unique features observed on the Khufu and, most notably, the Khafre Pyramids indicate a prolonged period of oceanic displacement, lasting between 50 and 400 years, that submerged the Giza Plateau in antiquity. This inundation stabilized at a height of 576 feet above current sea level, leaving a distinctive ocean water karst erosion band near the top of the Khafre Pyramid. The sustained and stable nature of this inundation strongly suggests that it was caused by a change in the georotational dynamics of the Earth sometime within the last fourteen millennia. This constitutes ‘dead body’ evidence, and it must be addressed. This evidence, along with its supporting predictive observations, have been neglected through a malicious scientific embargo which exploits professional buffoonery.
Article III. Exothermic Core-Mantle Decoupling – Dzhanibekov Oscillation (ECDO) Hypothesis – See Article Here
This hypothesis proposes a regular cycling of a natural dynamic system. Our Earth just happens to have two mechanisms of rotational equilibrium battling for dominance. The strength of the geomagnetic core determines which one is winning at any given time. We propose that periodically, the Earth’s core loses its magnetic moment and decouples from the outer rotational body (ORB), which includes the mantle and crust. This decoupling causes a shift in the Earth’s geographic axis of rotation along the 31st East meridian (the same meridian upon which is located both the Giza Plateau as well as the geographic center of the Earth), moving towards South Africa. At this critical transition point the Earth’s inertial moment takes precedent over its magnetic moment causing this change in geographic location of its rotational axis. The process is facilitated by the lubricating effect of exothermic D” layer material shed from the core. These effects enable the Earth’s outer rotational body to shift from today’s geomagnetic mechanical equilibrium, to a 104-degree rotated momentum-conserving gyroscopic one (via a mediated Dzhanibekov TPW rotation, where the Dzhanibekov effect delineates the path of least resistance for the reorientation, rather than constituting its ’cause’). The oceanic inundation from this cyclical and violent process is consistent with, and may be the impetus behind, the 175+ world ‘flood myths’—constituting a message important enough to be reflected in the inner design (and at one time, function) of the Khufu Pyramid itself. We contend that Pillar 43 at Göbekli Tepe communicates this very message. After a period of time and reversal in this Earth core condition the Earth rotates (is electromagnetically compelled) back to its magnetic moment priority where it spends the majority of its cycle.
Theory Elegance, Predictive Power, and Critical Path Statement of Falsification
Our continuing research indicates that more than two hundred ancient monuments exhibit alignments corresponding to Np′—the hypothesized secondary north georotational axis geographic position—proposed by ECDO Theory. These orientations do not correspond to the present rotational pole, nor to any solstitial, equinoctial, or equilux alignment. Among the structures conforming to this pattern are Sacsayhuamán, Gunung Padang, Malta’s Ġgantija Temples, the Great Pyramid of Giza, Puma Punku, and the Nazca Lines.
This remarkable global consistency represents an extraordinary empirical confirmation — one among over thirty successful observational predictions of ECDO Theory.1
As well, ECDO Theory bears a clear presentation of hypothesis risk and statement of falsification.2
It is our proposition that we are now well past an Indigo Point of exothermic core-mantle decoupling and that we have incorrectly interpreted the heat presented by this phenomenon as being caused solely by human activity. While we conjecture an interval for this catastrophic cycle in the second article, we still cannot confidently predict when the next instance will occur. Nonetheless, we cite that there exists an urgent need to consider the possibility and detect the approach of a subsequent Tau Point magnetic/geophysical-moment mediated Dzhanibekov gyroscopic oscillation in Earth’s rotation.
Such a rotation will likely produce the cataclysmic inundation we observe etched into the eroded Tura limestone casing of the Khafre Pyramid—an event echoed throughout many ancient cultural oral histories and monuments, inclduing The Epic of Gilgamesh and The Testament of Atrahasis.
This petition for hypothesis is offered without any intent to provoke panic, apocalyptic thinking, or preparatory survivalism. Its purpose is instead to introduce the theory for consideration under the plurality allowed by Ockham’s Razor and to encourage continued evaluation within competent scientific inquiry. Although it advances a postulate concerning Earth’s catastrophe cycles, it neither asserts that identical sequences must recur nor that such events follow a fixed periodicity. It remains entirely plausible that we presently occupy only a precursor regime of geomagnetic instability and exothermic core activity.
Whose history is concealed from them is also captive.
Man himself has proved to be a greater threat to our knowledge and understanding than any natural disaster ever could be. Envy finds fault in the trivial, while a concealed truth intoxicates. Until we mature spiritually, we will perpetually believe that we were created out of clay or recently and amazingly evolved from a dissimilar yet extinct species.Every ancient library burned, every inscription erased, every sculpture smitten, every artifact easily explained, reburied, and ignored – all in the name of The True God™ and The True Science™ (same team, same playbook). As long as our hearts remain in this darkened state, so too will our past be equally opaque, and our present a constant series of paradoxes.
